Rhinolight

Rhinolight means lightening of the inner side of the nose by means of a high intensity light that has a special wavelength.

It is applied only for allergic rhinitis of which diagnosis is made clinically.

Long-term recovery is achieved for most of the allergic rhinitis complaints such as blockage, runny nose, sneezing and palate irritation.

Treatment lasts for few minutes and certainly gives no pain.

Rhinolight is recommended as the complementary treatment of allergic rhinitis.

It can be applied for patients who are pregnant or breast-feeding, or whose drug utilization is dangerous.

Mild dryness inside the nose is the only side effect of the treatment.

Effects of rhinolight treatment are obtained fast and they are long termed.

Repeated treatments increase tolerance to allergens.

How many treatments are necessary?
6 to 8 sessions should be applied in the course of 2 weeks.

Can rhinolight be applied to everyone?
It can applied to everyone, but it is better to apply rhinolight treatment cautiously to children under age 14 since we have little experience.

How does the treatment affect?
This is a special high intensity light treatment.  Intensity of the response immunity system gives against allergens is suppressed by rhinolight treatment.

Does treatment give pain?
No.  It is completed without giving any pain in a short period of time.

How much should we wait to see the effects?
Improvement is seen within two weeks even though it varies from person to person.

Does it have side effects?
Sometimes complaints increase after the first treatment, however this situation is temporary and disappears in a short period of time.  Rarely nose dryness may be experienced.

Can it be applied during pregnancy?
Yes, even it is recommended, because most of the drugs can not be taken during pregnancy.

Is it adequate to apply it for sporters?
Yes.  This treatment is especially recommended for situations where steroids are inhibited. Also exhausting effect of antihistaminic is effective on physical and mental performance; fortunately it is not possible to have such a side effect during rhinolight treatment.

Is it possible to apply rhinolight treatment together with the other anti-allergic drugs?
Yes.

Is rhinolight treatment applied against animal hair and dust allergies?
Yes.
